Small Charity Week Peer to Peer Exchange

Exclusive offer for emerging charity leaders to apply for free peer to peer support

Starting from September through to December 2025

Cranfield Trust's Peer to Peer Exchange groups enable leaders to discuss their challenges in a safe and supported space to help each other, guided by an experienced volunteer facilitator.

For this year's Small Charity Week, we're offering emerging leaders the opportunity to apply for our free Peer To Peer Exchange starting in September. If you're currently a Head of Department, in a deputy or middle manager role or looking to move up to a senior leadership role in a charity or CIC this could be for you.

Members of the group can share their challenges in confidence, find solutions, and work together to move their organisation forward. The sessions will allow you to develop your leadership capacity, strengthen your professional resilience and enhance professional effectiveness and productivity.

"Having the opportunity to reflect and share with other professionals doing similar work was so beneficial. The P2P sessions felt like a really safe space to explore thoughts and challenges, and the feedback within our group was really validating and reassuring." Previous Peer to Peer Exchange member
"This programme provided me with a safe space to bring issues that I had been grappling with and gain the support and encouragement from others with knowledge and skills." Previous Peer to Peer Exchange member

How the sessions work

This Peer to Peer Exchange groups will start in September and run through to December 2025. Each session is 90 minutes long and there will be six sessions that will run at fortnightly intervals. Exact dates will be confirmed if you are successful in being allocated to the group.

The groups are small, with between 4 and 8 people in each one. This group will be with emerging leaders from across the sector which provides the opportunity to hear different perspectives and a wide range of solutions to issues.

You will need to be able to attend at least five of the six sessions in order to take part and make it useful for you and all participants.
