We are delighted to announce that Dan Francis has joined Cranfield Trust as our new Chief Executive.
Dan, previously Principal Consultant at the National Centre for Voluntary
Organisations (NCVO), brings a wealth of experience and deep understanding of
the voluntary sector. His expertise in charity governance and leadership will
be invaluable as the Trust continues to provide essential pro bono support to charities
across the UK.
Dan succeeds Amanda Tincknell CBE, who retires after 25 years of dedicated service. We are incredibly grateful for the strong foundation Amanda has built during her time as CEO. Amanda will be handing over to Dan for the next few weeks to ensure a smooth transition to new leadership.
On starting as Chief Executive, Dan commented,
“I’m honoured to be starting as Cranfield Trust’s new Chief Executive and am very much looking forward to building on the strong foundation of success that Amanda, the staff team and volunteers have created.
I have always been driven by the power of targeted pro bono support for non-profits and the ripple effect that sharing lessons and insights can have on the wider sector. This is very much what attracted me to the Trust and I look forward to working with the Board, staff, volunteers and partners to build on the Trust’s impressive achievements, while ensuring we continue to deliver impact where it matters most.”
