Please contact us.
We will send you a skills-based registration form to capture information on your key areas of business expertise. We will also ask you for a copy of your CV and for two referees.
Once we have received your references, we will welcome you to the Trust and add your details to our volunteer register.
If you are volunteering for project work, our regional Project Managers will contact you with a brief for your consideration once they receive a request from a local non-profit that could benefit from your expertise.
If you accept the brief, the Project Manager will introduce you to the organisation and stay in touch as you work together, to answer any queries and ensure that the project makes good progress.
If you are volunteering for our HRNet panel, you will receive questions on HR issues relevant to your expertise from voluntary organisations around the country who would not otherwise have access to such advice. To become an HRNet panel member you must have up to date technical knowledge of employment law and practice, and we welcome HR generalists (not trainers, as this skill is more relevant to project work) as well as those specialising in Health and Safety at Work and pensions. This role will usually take no more than a few hours each month.
