CARE & REPAIR ENGLAND
Business Plan

Care & Repair England was established in 1986 by Shelter and the Housing Associations Charitable Trust (Hact) with the primary objective of enabling disadvantaged older people, particularly low income home owners, to live independently in their own homes. The organisation is run as an impartial, not for profit organisation, highlighting the impact of poor quality housing on the health and well-being of older people, pioneering new initiatives which better meet the evolving housing needs of a diverse, ageing population and working with older people to influence decision making both locally and nationally.
