Review of Marketing & Communications Strategy

Scottish Churches Housing Action was launched in 1995 to bring together the major Christian denominations to work together to address homelessness in Scotland. Its three main strands of work are: supporting locally based volunteering initiatives to help homeless people, encouraging churches to make surplus land or property available for affordable housing, and raising and maintaining awareness of homelessness and related issues in parliament and the media.

CHOPSTICKS NORTH YORKSHIRE
Service Costs Analysis

Chopsticks North Yorkshire is a small industrial and provident society based in Northallerton. It originated in 1995 when a group of adults with learning disabilities and their support worker started chopping and selling firewood for the benefit of their mental and physical health and to generate income. The society has since grown considerably and now runs a centre providing work activities for people with mental health problems and a home and garden maintenance service which helps to promote the independence of older people.
